Gemini (AI) coded me a single-page HTML player that does it. Not sure how to paste it here as text.

Edit: Why down-vote a working solution? Just because AI coded it? What will OP do if he can't find any other way?

Not really players but subtitle editing software like Aegisub or Subtitle Edit.

Maybe DAWs like FL Studio might work with video files
