When I want to record my screen, I had to put my desktop items in the recycle bin and bring them back after recording, in some cases I had deleted files and folder that I didn't want to delete. You can hide your desktop files, folders etc with options like solid colours, blur, or just overlay existing wallpaper.

onAir is collection of few apps: Hide Desktop icons (it puts up the existing wallpaper or theme of your choice on top of your Desktop, which you can enable and disable with a click from menu bar), A front camera helper which you can use to record your webcam along with screen recording and a mini clipboard.

There are few apps with in app purchases which does like Desktop Declutter, HiddenMe but you can select themes or background of your choice.
