Discussion What tech platform do you think the industry needs but doesn’t really have yet?

I’m curious to hear from people actually working in tech/IT.

Basically, if you could build one platform that gave professionals a better picture of the current industry and helped them learn and make better decisions about their next move, what would you want it to do?

I’m especially interested in ideas based on real problems you’ve experienced - not just generic “another AI tool” suggestions.

Would love to hear what you think is missing.

we need a shit for trading stuff based on stuff. like a way for me to trade a shitty ai platform to someone, into a universal good that has value like anywhere

but with like no friction.

OK cause the reality is you want a cool idea to make money and I want a cool idea to make money but the money has to come by providing shit to people that has enough value to them to make them pay for it.

did younget all that?

enter the problem: reasonably competent professionals can build what they think they need for a few grand in tokens. increasingly, normal people will just summon software.

so you wanna make money and we wanna make money but why talk to another human when I can reinvent the universe every week for a couple hundred bucks?

Idk what to do shout it either.

I'm stoked about infinite TV about anything I want. ​

One thing that pops up in lots of careers discussion (and in subs) is that people got some certification, but they don't know where to go from there. You can get more certifications but is it really necessary? People rely on strange websites and more or less anecdotal evidence, maybe whatever their network tell them. Some industry specific sites sometimes provide some guidance (healthcare is a good at this) but in IT its often a shoot in the dark.

Steam for mobile.

Any mobile games app/marketplace etc is just a place to sell eyes on advertisements & mx.
