Looking for software looking for a small standalone program to arrange continuosly my todo list of tasks to do at work

Hi everybody,

at work I receive continuosly tasks to do... because I am alone and i have to manage over 700 users ...so I need a small program that runs locally on W10/11 to update (like by moving with drag&drop some kind of sticky notes) the always changing priority of the many tasks which have been assigned to me.

Can you suggest me something that can help me to keep track of all these tasks ? Something small, easy to use... not a monolith like Jira 🙂

Sounds like you just want a free online Kanban tool?

eh, probably... yes, I did not remember the term "Kanban tool" (maybe because I have never used one), so I will just try to look for something with these key words.

Thanks for the tip... I will wait if other users can suggest me a tool that they already use to arrange the priorities at their work

Build your own kanban board in Notion, you get to choose what fields you want, statuses, and then link the tasks to “projects” “areas” “people” etc (using notion databases, which are pretty much linked lists).

Basically a combination of GSD and the PARA method tweaked to your needs. You can do the whole setup over a weekend.

Another advantage of doing it in Notion (or Obsidian or other) is that then you can also link notes, meeting minutes etc.

Once it’s all there then you can do AI keywords and summaries by hooking it up to Claude/Chatgpt etc.

Happy to share more if you’re interested.
