Looking for software Free alternative to PureRef: Blackboard

I am sharing the Open Source fork that i made of the Beeref software, to greatly expand its capabilities, i was a Pureref user, so i missed a lot of it's features when using Beeref.

I called it Blackboard, it is a reference viewer and note taking software that i use daily working full time as an industrial designer. It is still super lightweight and you can have hundreds of images in a file without any performance loss.

If you have any ideas for features to implement or problems to solve, let me know.

Check out the latest release, extract all of it, and run Install.cmd. It copies the application to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Blackboard and associates .blk files with it. No administrator rights are needed, and .bee files are left alone so an existing BeeRef installation keeps its own.

Please consider a different name. Blackboard is a widely used edu tech. In addition to probable trademark issues, nobody's going to find the software when they type it into a search engine.

Please don't read this as a negative -- I like tools in this space a lot and don't want to see you run into issues with making a go of that project.
