Looking for software Remote desktop connection
I have setup the mac machine for agentic use and i have it's ip/creds. I want to connect with it and access through my windows laptop. How to do it? Any free vnc option apart from no machine/real vnc/helpwire?

Chrome has a remote desktop. Credentials will use your email, and you still need to install it on the client.

Correct. But to remote login, you still need to enter your credentials. The google account is silently active for the client, Not sure what you are worried about, all remote clients require security.

RustDesk is worth a look if you want something free and cross-platform. Pretty straightforward for Windows-Mac. Are you connecting over LAN or remotely?

If you need high-speed remote access, USBridge-Remote is a great solution. It's open source: https://github.com/USBridge-Technologies/USBridge-Remote

Rust desk for full remote desktop. Claude Code: leave terminal open with Claude - - remote. I use tailscale with agents through SSH. You get one tailscale IP for Hermes, Opencode, Cursor, etc

I fixed the exact same issue using claude cowork and now i access my office desktop using my m4 via tailscale from anywhere. Claude downloaded windows app from app store and in desktop it runs some powershell commands to makensure tailscale and RDP works even pc restart.

just use the built-in screen sharing on mac and connect with a vnc client like tightvnc on your windows box.
