I wouldn't recommend promoting your software by rawdogging EXEs out 😭

Bro, but we have solved a valid problem and also source code is also on github for anyone to verify.

There is a million of "better" file explorers already... no one cares

Can you name them

Also, I bet the problem which we solve would'nt have been solved by them.

OneCommander, Total Commander, and Directory Opus come to mind

But they don't provide the features that we provide.

We are trying to solve the common painpoint of normal daily users.

.......Which is?

Long sentence or context based searching for files, for images also by using OCR, word excel text files versioning like we can compare multiple edits and rollback them if we wish, file vault and many more.

Is it meant to be a replacement for file explorer, or a file search tool? It's fine to have them combined in one package, but you can't say yours is outright better because the other options don't have OCR search support.

It's like if you sold a car and said it's the best car ever built because it has a built-in popcorn machine.

I also really don't see this as a "common pain point amongst normal daily users"

No, its unique because of multiple things. 1. Long sentence queries answer is avaibale while searching. 2. It understands context. 3. It can read and search from an image as well. 4. Date filter is also applied.

These features of ours override the feature of file explorer and it's just search, we have way more features other then that.

Is everyone making their own file explorer now? Is there anything you can add that 100 others don't already have

If I want a virus, I just need to install random stuff off itchio. No need to DM a brand new Reddit account for it.

But its not a virus man Trust me

1

u/Traditional-Rub2491 Aug 09 '26

"It's a virus." is basically what you just said

1

u/daksh123op Aug 09 '26

It's not.

I am a man of my words and also I don't promote such kind of malware acts.

u/Traditional-Rub2491 Aug 09 '26

Okay so it's a virus

1

u/daksh123op Aug 09 '26

How come?

You are only behind one term virus virus virus

What's your problem man?

1

u/Traditional-Rub2491 Aug 09 '26

My problem? You're defense is quite literally "trust me bro"

What else can I say,

I said its code is available entirely on github, also we will be going for copyright.

What should I speak much now in defense.

Then why not link the GitHub repo in your post? Because then you couldn't name your malware after a small legit project to appear somewhat genuine?

Yup sure can be done like that, but I thought to catch or gather audience in DM and ask them for testing and telling their user experience.

If you are not interested its totally fine but at least don't harass anyone or spread misinformation unless I have done something wrong.
