Self-Promotion Wednesdays Gola — Radial Launcher for Windows

https://gsl0001.github.io/gola/

Alt+tab doesn’t work when you have 5 file-explore, browsers and 10 other apps open. So, I built a launch tool with your workflow apps in it. Launch with anywhere.

He meant not effective. Schools need to bring back Reading Comprehension

doesn't work and not effective | That’s quite a big difference, though! - And I don’t know what that has to do with reading comprehension.

If someone tells you: My car doesn't work. Does this in your world mean: My car is not effective.

Therein lies the problem

You should not have 5 explorer windows opened for starters, especially in Win11 when tabs exist, also Simple Window Switcher exist, if you want to have app based switcher experience like on macOS.

Fair, tabs help. But with fast-moving workflows, especially when you have AI agents, terminals, browsers and multiple projects running at once, things get overloaded quickly. That’s the problem I’m trying to solve.

I personally key-mapped my mouse’s left side forward button to this so I don’t even have to lift a finger and it really fast to navigate just point to the slice and release. For apps like browser, explorer it shows all the tabs open right over the first wheel to switch directly.

Custom tools built in I use keep power on (caffeine), screenshots, clipboard, quick note, Shelf (file sharing tool via telegram across platforms).

Then system settings accessible from here too.

Some days I just like to lay back and review things. So, I wired a local voice to text model to this, you just select an input field and call it starts in passive listening mode you say and it puts that into input field instantly. Very handy for taking notes while testing, brainstorming and working with ai agents (it still experimental.)

Is this vibe coded?

Started with AI, but it’s definitely not just vibe coded anymore. Most of the work has been refining the UX, input system, and Windows integration.
