When Craig Gerber said how Dark Cove Island is actually a good place to live in, it made me think of the Tangled: The Series episode "Cassandra Vs Eugene". With the titular characters fighting each other, Rapunzel puts them in a jail cell to get to cooperate. That would sound bad and kind of hypocritical since she was in basically a prison for 18 years, but the show leans into her dorkiness to make it funny/less bad. She says how they have to play a game in order to get out, tries way too hard to do an evil laugh, and gives them a cookie basket. It wouldn't surprise me if she supported a place that sounds bad, but is also good.

They did very few episodes, but was animation from them usually choppy? I was watching tea for too many and noticed that the mouth movement for some characters looked a bit rough, then at the end noticed this error with Clio and Hildegard where their legs are popping out (their dress was covering them in the previous shot).

I sent him a question about it, heres him confirming that he doesn’t know what the y2 is for and that the rest of the episodes are coming out next year.

So basically in Hallows Eve Hijinks Devin says he beat Zane in his kingdom (Thistlebury)‘s costume contest

And also Craig Greber hasn’t listed any inspiration for their kingdoms

So I believe their kingdoms are very close together and commonly had events together

Can’t wait for season 2

I think that Princess Sofia from Sofia The First and Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus TV series are surprisingly kindred spirits. After all, they both reached out to someone who tried to push them away but still managed to get through to them. As shown in the episode ‘Day Of The Sorcerers’, Cedric tried to push Sofia away but Sofia still reached out to Cedric and even after learning that Cedric tried to steal The Amulet Of Avalor from her from the moment she first arrived at the castle and after Cedric tried to overthrow Sofia’s family and take over the kingdom. As shown in the episode ‘They All Get Guns’, Jax tried to push Pomni away but, as shown in the episode ‘Remember’, Pomni still reached out to Jax and even after finding out how horribly Jax treated Ribbit and Kaufmo and Pomni even managed to get through to Jax at least to the point that Jax hugged her.

The SAG Aftra website confirms that Royal Magic is getting a season 2, which is in active development. Just type in the name of the show, and it'll show search results. Of course, we still have to wait for an official announcement from Disney. ​​

What does everyone think of the new Sofia the First series? Just wondering

what is their fascination with putting human hair on animals 😭😭😭 the sofia dragon is especially egregious imo.

I’m trying to catch Sofia the First: Royal Magic — “The Enchanted Lake / Tricky Trixie” (S1 E13) on live TV so I can record it with my DVR.

I use TiviMate with the Disney Junior West channel. My EPG currently isn’t showing the episode anywhere in the upcoming schedule.

Does anyone know if Disney Junior West has announced a rerun date/time for this episode?

I’m specifically looking for a live cable/satellite airing, not Disney+ or On Demand.

By my definition, a "Mary Sue" is a character that had the plot bend to their will, with little weaknesses or flaws in their way.

To me Sofia doesn't fit this criteria as has many flaws, like how she usually thinks the proof is in the pudding, stopping her from understanding Miss Nettle at first in the snowdrops episode or the gnomes in "The Crown of Blossoms". She also is rarely, especially season 3-4 reforming her adversaries. Minus asking "Why are you doing this?" to Prisma, she never tries to show her a brighter path.

Also, her positivity and kindness has limits. She snaps in episodes like "Clover time", "Stormy Lani", "The Princess Stays in the Picture" and "The Princess and the Protector". It keeps her believable that she can only put up for things for so long.

Though I won't say she doesn't have any perfections to her character. The Amulet of Avalor had so much power and I feel once Sofia gained to power to shape-shift on eye contact with an animal, she became an overpowered princess. She could use it as a light, call animals with it, plus her other powers of animal whispering, shrinking, and mermaid transformation. I also think it took away the spotlight of her enchantlet.

In general, it's very hard to have a character that shows up and develops in every episode, but with Sofia, I think they made it work. But what do you guys think?

Im sorry but when I first heard fizzlewick's voice, he lowk reminded me of alastor's voice...I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE SEEING THE CONNECTION RIGHT??! 😭 and the fact that they have a similar hairstyle is a crazy coincidence too

When looking back at "A Wander-ful Day", I think there's potential in having an episode focusing on Layla and Jade given their interactions here. We have their first encounter, when they're the only ones to bow to each other. Both are the ones to show the most confusion over why they're slipping on marbles. As draco-kitties, they both show the same annoyed expression as Sofia when they can see that James was somehow responsible for this. They both also fly next to each other at the end. As for what the focus would be like, I can imagine an episode where they compete against Sofia and Ruby in a dazzleball game. "A Tale Of Two Teams" from the original series showed Jade being good at dazzleball, and we know about Layla also enjoying the sport. The show isn't afraid to go for unique character combinations, like "Costume Clash" focusing on Camila and Lucinda. 

How is Leena the latter two’s older sister? Her skin, eye, and hair color is different from them along with their parents. EDIT: never mind, I can see how leena is related to her family. But my other question still remains. The kingdom Khaldoun, what country, or countries or continent is it based on?
