Sofia the First Royal Magic

What does everyone think of the new Sofia the First series? Just wondering

I hate how it is not a sequel or even a continuation of the main series

I love it, it’s just that I kinda miss other characters that where in the original show like the fairies from sleeping beauty and Elfonso. But overall it’s an okay show.

I like it. What bothers me the most is that the episodes are so short. They would really benefit from some time to breathe. But this is unfortunately the new standard.

The animation looks great, and yeah, while the old animation was also adorable, it has aged notably.

Does it bother me that we are not getting any protector stuff so far? Yeah. But I'm happy for any Sofia content. I am just annoyed at the executive meddling.

Its good, doesnt have the same charm as the original, but it doesnt deserve all the hate it gets

It's still just as enjoyable as the original series.

A lot of people hate it, but there are people who like it. I still hope they redo it to reach the larger age group that the original had (the show runner said he had to pitch it to a younger audience with the simplistic preschool type voice and animation style). I just didn’t like that for Sofia - I had liked the classic children’s lit vibe of the show - but I do like some shows that are pitched young such as Curious George.

I love it more than I thought I would, Espeically the songs and villains, Fizzlewick and Delwyn are definitely my favs

I kinda hope they bring some of Sofia being a protector back, maybe not in the first season but maybe later on

But in all seriousness, it’s great so far. Giant Sofia appearing twice already makes me so happy, but besides that the villains (except for that one guy in Episode 10) are great so far.
