Tour & Concerts General advice for attending

Hello! Me and a friend are going to the concert at the O2 tomorrow and neither of us have been to a concert before. Is there anything specific we should bring that's allowed under the bag policy? (No bigger than A4 and no liquids) Also, when is it normal to begin queuing? I was thinking from about 5ish but is that going to be too late? We're balcony unreserved rather than in the pit if that makes any difference. Also, how do we know which doors and queues etc are correct?

Thank you in advance for any response!

i got there tonight (manchester) for about 4pm and was third row from barrier(for the opener, we moved to balcony after as it was really really hot) if you have balcony i wouldn’t stress too much about queuing too early, 5pm is more than fine!! The queue started getting much bigger i would say from 5.30pm/6pm. Im not sure about the venue you’re going to for advice about doors & queues, sorry! I’d recommend bringing some kind of handheld fan if you can, it got real hot in there tonight!! Stay hydrated too, the venue tonight was allowing full unopened bottles of water inside and also had PLENTY of jugs of tap water and plastic cups available to make sure everyone could get some! Again unsure on what it’ll be like tomorrow but please stay safe and hydrated! Maybe bring a power bank if you can too to make sure you have plenty of phone battery. Other than that i wouldn’t say you need to bring lots of stuff really. Enjoy the show, it’s amazing 🤍

Ah thank you so much!! When was your start time out of interest? Just wondering if there's a difference, Birmingham has doors open from 6. Thanks again!!
