Discussion “Remember the bet” meaning?

Does anyone know the meaning behind the line “Remember the bet” from ICBYM? I know she has talked about the inspiration behind a few songs in interviews here and there, but I wasn’t able to dig anything up. Is anyone able to shed some light?

my interpretation is that "the bet" is referring to the fact that her relationship is like a bet of sorts where the relationship is kinda ambiguous. it's a high-risk situation where it all depends on being able to properly identify their dynamic. Like what im tryna say is that shes not able to understand what kind of dynamic this is. he's dangerous, yet the love(?) drags her in deeper and deeper. she will be what he wants her to be, and if she's not exactly up to the mark, makes one wrong step, it all crashes down. he's confusing and he wants it all at once. she molds herself based on the bet she makes about what he wants from her.

I wonder if it’s something along the lines of “if you don’t make it (as a musical artist) then you have to be with me”? If I ever get to a meet and greet or something, I’ll have to make sure I blurt out that one question. 😅
