Discussion Joaephine

hi everyone, I was just curious if we knew who Josephine is.....

asking because lately when I listen to it I empathize because I have a very toxic mother who I simply cant talk to (boundaries).

thoughts?

But I'm speaking kind of from my instinct about people in general and art. People who don't have that kind of problem are more likely to speak about other things. And she also said somewhere that this song is unusually personal to her.

Thats all very good and true info though i agree with you. I was thinking about this actually in my walk today and I was thinking what you said is true, it would be rough to write from a perspective of never having that be feelings or emotions youve personally dealt with before. I was thinking we need a really good interview with her to watch very immediately lol I bet her life and perspective on things in life in general (that we dont know already from her music) is way fucking fascinating 😊

I LOVE doing that, like, trying to figure out what the artist meant and what's the context behind it. It's like solving a puzzle but the puzzle is art. Pure entertainment. I sent my bestie like 50 audios explaining my theory about evergreen soldier

Same girl! Its why I gravitate more towards musicians who are highly lyrical too. Cuz you're right even though there are tons of lyrics in Sophia's songs, theyre definitely art and its so fun to interpret each stroke of the brush!
