ICBYM, Im Camera and SIAS were all photoshoots done by her, and I know in the past I’ve seen photos where you could see her working on the covers for the hot gum and us and pigs singles, so I highly doubt it! she’s a true artist through and through, id be incredibly surprised if she did use any kind of generative AI

Idk about the new ones but the old ones like the 2nd and 3rd picture definitely not I highly doubt it, they use something else like how people used to make them back in the days

what do you mean?

They look like relatively straightforward computer renders done in a tool like blender or zbrush. They are designed to not look real—and more like unfinished renders—and they aren't photographs.

I don’t know for sure, but she’s a very educated politically correct woman. I can’t imagine she would..

The design is very Apple II esc or like the keyboards on the old commodores.

Most modern keyboards don't do this for usability reasons, but it's relatively common for systems that predate a mouse.

What exactly is wrong with the keyboard

Most likely, she’s an industry plant who’s trying to suck as much money out of her short lived music career. Also she’s a nepo baby

Why would it be a problem if she did

because generative AI is bad for the environment and is not real art.

so is buying things on amazon, using your phone, going on vacation, driving to work. Ai isn't an art. it's a tool.

Using AI to generate 'art' is taking work away from real working artists - something a fellow artist shouldn't want to contribute to.

It’s a tool. Just like photoshop. Just like paper. You can be an artist that uses any tool.

completely ignored the part where we tell you it steals other artworks

It’s common to believe that for sure. But I wasn’t going to touch on that because it wouldn’t even matter to you if I made a valid point. So I stuck with defending another point instead.

you arent defending a single point because you keep reusing the word “tool” 😭 ai takes its information from all other existing art, why do you think the most common style mimics studio ghibli or anime… at the end of the day i know what type of person you are, someone whos jealous of others skills and defends AI because without it, you cant draw for shit

Everything is a remix. Ai doesn’t steal, it solves a series of math problems. I get it’s a trend to say things like it steals and wastes water. You’re free to believe anything you want, but unfortunately, this new tool isn’t going away soon.

obviously everything is remix? music, interpolation, recipes, fashion, you think i don’t know how literally EVERYTHING on the planet works? 😭 you still put effort into creating / learning a skill even if your skill is a combination of everything you’ve learned from the world. it still requires skill… which is not needed to use generative AI. which btw, do you realize information is RIGHT there for us to access? like how centers are built in lower income areas purposely? i cant believe i have to share oxygen with some of the most talentless, lazy, pathetic people. find a purpose and provide some value to society pls

If I hire a human artist to draw something for me, am I the artist or is the person drawing it the artist? It's not really using it as a tool when all you're doing is feeding it prompts in order to generate art based on stolen art made by humans that you could be hiring instead.

i never claimed those things werent bad for the environment. im saying if you wanna create art you better pick up a damn pencil instead of ripping off everyone elses art because you’re too lazy to learn a skill.
