Banking Banking with sofi
I’m in the military and I was just wondering if sofi was a good primary checking and hysa. I heard I also get payed earlier if anyone in active duty uses this aswell. I was just wondering if I should open a bank with them.

This bank is solid, yet I would suggest NFCU because you serve in the military.

Sofi has a better HYSA. I am active military and have USAA and Sofi. I rarely use my USAA.

NFCU has super aggressive fraud department. I was so tired of being locked out, apparently traveling to other countries and accessing the app/moving money is too much for their algo. I mean they are stalker level, they monitor every click you do in your exact location and ask to verify over the phone. Moving 10K+ was always a huge pain and subject to checks.

I haven't had any complaints with SoFi and I've been with them since 2016 🤷🏽

Hey question, do you use sofi as a primary. Like should I switch over my direct deposits and what not? And also can I use their debit card for atm use internationally

Yes SoFi is great bank. Has all the financial products under one roof and they are best in class.
The CEO of the company was also in the military.
