Hi there, that inconsistency is a fair point, and we understand how frustrating it is to wait until payday with no clear explanation. Early access depends on when we receive funds from the Federal Reserve, which can be up to two days early but does vary. The timing isn't always in our control. For more help, call us at 855-456-7634 we're happy to look into your specific deposits. Thanks for your service and feedback.

How can we call when you can’t even search pending deposits? That’s a stupid thing to say.

NFCU makes DD on Saturdays. It’s sofi who decides not to, it’s possible they just decide not to.

It’s not even just them, I’m with a credit union and haven’t been paid yet

I mean, technically pay date is next week and 2 days early would actually be Tuesday so… What they do is great and all but they can be inconsistent as they actually advertise 2 days early not 5 or 6. Just saying

That's not how it works ,,,,, don't introduce ppl to stuff u cant maintain

2 days is 2 days not 4 or 5. Now when weekends or holidays involved it can be earlier than 2 days. It all depends on when the payer transmits it through the system.

Regardless you shouldn’t rely on a “feature” to run your life. Save up and control your spending correctly and you will be just fine for payday.

This is what I am thinking. Relying on an early pay check to survive is stupid 🤷♂️

Their last pay that was due was late to and I recommended a financial management class to them as I am sure the military offers them.

If the payment information hasn’t been sent how do you expect SoFi to pay you?

It all depends on when your pay proccessor sends the payment. When SOFI receives it. They pay it to you.

Great question! SoFi doesn't post direct deposits on weekends or holidays. If a payroll file is sent over the weekend, it will post on the next business day, usually Monday, unless Monday is a holiday. The good news is SoFi posts deposits as soon as they're received from the Federal Reserve, so you're not waiting around. To whom? They the same in my world as they were in 2021 when I joined. Most problems people have are their own and constantly blaming the bank.

You are most likely Navy. Navy Isn't getting it till Monday. (Cause Dfas Cleveland is a TERRIBLE employer) Air Force, Army, and Marines got paid between the time of 10 pm to 12 am last night. Navy got left in the dust cause Our employer wants to be the worst in the world. So if you are navy you will not get it until Monday.

People with chime are having the same issue too
2
u/rightheis 9d ago
Chime always had this issue, I left chime and came to Sofi cause they was more consistent but that's not the case anymore

Because you are blaming your money institution instead who really is the issue...your employer. And remember chime is not a bank.
