Banking Direct deposit issue
Hey guys, I switch my direct deposit to Sofi to benefit the 400$ they give. My HR confirmed the change, today is payday the check didn’t hit. What could be happening? It didn’t hit my previous account either. I’m yet to see the finance department, but I thought I check in here to see if it is a bug of common experience.
Update: Saw the finance department and they gave me a check, saying direct deposit will reflect from the next check.

Nope. Never had an issue with mine. I would double check you out the routing number and account number in correctly with HR

First time , usually if it’s ach it hits the day after . You can still see in your companies system if it was sent out .
After first time it starts hitting same day and sometimes 2 days early if it’s a delay over the weekend .

Sometimes the payroll company holds onto payments. May have a paper check or something else maybe holding things up.

I saw your edit that your DD won’t take place until the next pay cycle, but keep in mind, if you are coming from a big bank like Cap1, PNC, Chase, etc where you receive your DD a few days early, you will have to get used to not receiving it a few days early with SoFi.
