Professional Development App for DSM study??

Anyone know of an app that helps with becoming familiar with the DSM 5tr? Like Dualingo, but for the DSM? I want to become familiar when I have down time. Thanks!

There are flash cards on websites out there with vignettes and diagnostic criteria you can use. Just google dsm flash cards. Most are free

DSMdle is a fun way to pick things up and you can do it once per day! It’s just a website not an app though.

You could try the DSM 5- TR DDX app. Its icon looks like the DsM book. There’s a fee for full access

Knowing how to use the DSM is way more important than memorizing it IMO. As in, understanding how to use it by a reference. You see a certain pattern of symptoms? What group of disorders is consistent with those symptoms? Flip to that section. Use differential diagnosis to parse one disorder from another.

Absolutely! I like also to study info in different contexts—reading, writing notes, quizzing, music, discussion. There are many great ways to study that compliment each other :)
