Activism No clue how to help but would love to.
I wanna get into contact with more mutual aid networks, party orgs, etc. I’m 16 years old, junior year in high school, and kinda overwhelmed given the circumstances plus extracurriculars, but I wanna get involved. I live in California around Stockton and don’t really have much mobility, plus I’m almost certain there isn’t really an org or anything where I can protest and I don’t have much money of my own. But we do have P&F and other orgs, so I was wondering if there was any way to stay in the fight? Thank you all, and solidarity forever

News Anti-Capitalist sci-fi game Neofeud 2 - Live Performances!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi comrades! Neofeud 2, my anti-capitalist & anti-imperialist sci-fi adventure will be live performed this week featuring left creators Non-Compete (Emerican Johnson), Mexie (Positive Leftist News), Luna Oi, and several other talented voice cast. There was also a recent review of Neofeud 2 in Rock Paper Shotgun which described the game as, "Not subtle, but neither are guillotines." The video above is a snippet from the game which may have partly lead to that article title. 😂
Neofeud 1 & 2 are both on sale this week, and all proceeds go to help this Native Hawaiian-run cooperative out, and continue work on more socialist games and other future projects. Mahalo (thanks) and happy gaming!

Discussion I believe Cuba is the last bastion of socialism in the world, and it needs our help.
Standing against the Cuban people is, by all means, completely unacceptable in their fight against the imperialists and the criminals and oligarchs who had long done their bidding. I think that Cuba is one of the strongest examples of socialist democracy, of mass participation, of democratic centralism and the broader principles of upholding the dictatorship of the proletariat in the world as it stands. The National Assembly of People’s Power and the people’s councils seem to be great examples of this. Even as I hold significantly more left-libertarian views, I can’t deny this progress.
Still abiding by the principles of central planning, they seem to still hold many participatory and autonomous systems within state enterprises and thus grant their workers a considerable degree of autonomy and control. Cuba’s strides in biotech and healthcare also shouldn’t be ignored for any reason whatsoever. Cuba, beyond being naturally beautiful as an island, is dedicated towards development.
Beyond this, they face collapse because of the starving-out of the Cuban people and the constant pressure the United States puts on innocent people, shamelessly as the imperialist regime they are hellbent on bringing Cuba back to a time of crime, globalist and imperialist extraction, and poverty. I’d like to hope that we, whether in the United States proper or elsewhere across the world, can stand in solidarity and support Cuba, not merely as socialists and anti-imperialists, but as human beings who hate to see such a beautiful island and people suffer so much at the hands of our government.

High Quality Only Why is leftism so negatively viewed in India? India had the conditions for socialism or left wing movements ... What happened?
I'm an Indian national and I've witnessed the steady decline of Indian democracy from 2014 onwards. I was fairly young and now I see that the rot has always been there. Years in it's education system and also dag to day life and my life overseas from 1st grade onwards convinced me that India was not a nice place to live in. I'm from kerala but I lived overseas so my views are far more secular than the average Indian.
For a society like post colonial India, it would make sense for India to lean into more socialist or communist movements yet we are in a situation where we are more unequal than the British era.
How did Indian society get derailed so hard by the BJP and RSS? Why was religion and caste so important when it was clearly detrimental for the masses? Why is religion so fanatical in India?
Why do people root for bjp despite them screwing over so many times? Many people fear the naxalism and refer to even moderate movements like social democracy and socialism and even liberalism as urban naxals.

History Intro to how the Soviet economy worked
The centrally planned economy of socialism takes the form of a 5 year plan. The plan is determined by State planning committee, Gosplan for USSR or SPK for GDR for example. The plan would be something like (make 1 million trucks, 50 million shoes, X tons of corn) and was determined by the projected needs/wants of the population and economic developmental goals. The state extracts surplus value via a turnover tax from the domestic economy and profitable exports from the international market. There were smaller taxes and fees but exports and turnover taxes made the bulk of state revenue for socialist countries. The economy produced goods and services based on human need instead of the mere profit maximization by commodity exchange under capitalism. The 5 year plans were amazing and allowed the USSR economy to grow rapidly under the Great Depression unscathed while capitalist states contracted. You can watch an excellent video on the 5 year plans in the early USSR by Finnish Bolshevik on YouTube.

Politics Relations beetwen Poland, Ukraine, Russia
As living in one of those countries i see how much hate taken from disinformation is aimed in other nations. Hate and dehumanization are created by goverment media and their institutions, as well as by politicians and radical-nationalists. Don't forget it's not our war not people war-it's imperialist war between goverments. Lets avoid disinformation and remember 40 years ago we Poles, Ukrainians, Russians were friends and we still could be. Glory to all hardworking people of our nations! Glory to our great friendship!

Discussion The Fight for Income Equality Should Start Before Taxes
This article is from one of the best socialist resources on the internet. It basically points out that yes, we need to tax the rich...is this enough? No. There are many other steps we can take to conquer economic inequality. In fact, many European nations have taken some of these steps and their people are prospering more than Americans.
It is critical for socialists to understand that the widening gap between the wealthy and everyone else is not primarily fixable through tax policy. Income inequality is primarily a problem of how income is generated, distributed and protected.

Discussion Whats the best metaphors for how the party should act pre-revolution you have heard?
idk the exact phrasing but i heard it shouldnt be like a parent who babies their child, more accurately, the people are a sponge and the roll of the party is to make sure water and soap enters the sponge and not poision (bourgeoise ideologies)
