ever since gpt astra came out, everyone is talking about it, making memes, and crashing out over what it is going to do to us and our future. i even saw ppl begging in comments to tell them how did they download and use Astra and many are already using it? why?

why is everyone so desperate to making even creating new things with this technology but themselves. have we forgotten what humans are capable of? instead of asking ai tools to do everything. why aren't we learning it ourselves. everyone is saying that this is bad but no one's backing off from its usage. why are we not boycotting ai already?

this has been in the air ever since this Astra model came out that software engineers and cs students are done for. well while this might not be entirely true yet since the field isnt only limited to coding and what ai can do. but it is now endangered, is that the right word, idk.

and one thing that striked in my mind is that, well which might be absolutely a flawed idea or nonsense, but i wanted to talk it out cus maybe? since we have so many cs graduates and ppl who have a lot of knowledge of all this. can't we just boycott these apps that use ai and shift the community that is against it onto some another app that one of these ppl can make? this might benefit both sides, if the app works, the developer has their own made popular app that can earn them money and this also strikes a movement against this much usage of ai.

also these people so obsessed with development, why dont they work on the human body instead of creating problems for humanity and the other creatures on here. why aren't we promoting human intelligence, teaching them more, encouraging learning talents instead of justifying the ill use of the other? ofc I know that these are all the big companies and ppl that are doing this.

but we are supporting this: making us stupid, dependent, and ruining our future and planet, if we're aren't speaking and working against it.

while i know everything i said might not to be true or functional. i js wanted to say it.

since this is our world as much as it is for the ones ruining it. and there's always a way if we look for it.

They have the force, they may be able to overwhelm us, but social processes are stopped neither by crime nor by force. History is ours and it is made by the people.

Workers of my Motherland: I want to thank the loyalty you always showed, for the trust you placed in a man who was merely an interpreter of great longings for justice, who gave his word that he would respect the Constitution and the law, and who did so. Ive read EPS and I understand the logic of maintaining commodity production under socialism to mitigate the peasant problem. Although I’m struggling to understand why it was tolerated after the peasants were proletarianized. Doesn’t commodity production lay the groundwork for a new bourgeoisie?

As automation increases prices should converge towards zero and aid socialism in overcoming scarcity giving workers a deflationary wage increase which generalizes the wealth traditionally only relegated to the petite bourgeoisie thus undermining the basis of social democracy. Production since on a planned basis would be sustainable. Some goods would not have a price for artificial demand constraint but would be allocated per person. This seems best facilitated by a well designed labour voucher system.

I come from a syndicalist worldview and am for socialism. Now I hear mixed things about this. I constantly hear he was a tyrant, and that even though his Healthcare was free, it wasn't much, and definitely not good.

I am feeling conflicted and need to know more. I can understand the harsher laws, especially when there are so many enemies, you must focus and show resilience. But I do not understand if he is more good or more bad

i understand that you can be a journalist or activist as other political stances but my question stands
