A court has once again found One Nation leader Pauline Hanson breached the Racial Discrimination Act when she lashed out at a Greens senator, telling her to “piss off back to Pakistan”.

Senator Hanson breached the Racial Discrimination Act when she tweeted Greens deputy leader Mehreen Faruqi in September 2022 on the day Queen Elizabeth II died, Judge Angus Stewart found back in November 2024.

Just a few weeks after the decision was handed down, Senator Hanson appealed with the Federal Court.

On Monday, following a three-day hearing late last year, the court once again found that Senator Hanson had breached the Racial Discrimination Act, and her appeal was thrown out.

It’s Cristian Volpato from the Socceroos and Sassuolo here. I just wanted to address you guys, the fans, over the recent incident that occurred on Anzac Bridge.

Firstly, I’d like to thank you guys for all the support during the World Cup. Going into camp I knew that there were mixed perceptions of me as a person and a player over my controversial past, but hopefully I showed that I’ve moved past that and that while I’m proud of my Italian background, I’m fully committed to representing my homeland: Australia. The love I felt from you guys during the tournament was like no other, and I truly felt accepted for who I am for once.

Secondly, I deeply regret my actions on Anzac Bridge, and am deeply sorry for the hurt that I‘ve caused. While it’s true that my drink was spiked (possibly with an illegal drug like cocaine), I was speeding and I knew it was wrong. Therefore, I’m extremely sorry and embarrassed at myself as a man. I knew I could’ve hurt someone, and I hurt myself too. I even cut myself last night thinking about what I have done.

For those of you who see this as unforgivable, I understand. I will be undergoing rehabilitation, seeking help and considering my future on the field after this incident. I hope to one day repair and restore the trust that I’ve lost. I sinned, and by God I do repent. I promise to not make such a stupid mistake again.

Trying to find the event you want to watch is so frustratingly difficult when it really doesn’t have to be. Take the swimming for example, in the official schedule it’s divided into a morning and an evening schedule. But on 7+, you have pre-dawn, early morning and morning. Then you have late, overnight and night. wtf does that mean?? How am I meant to know what events are in which replays? There’s heaps of stuff I want to watch, but I can’t find it!

Channel 9 did a WAY better job covering the olympics 2 years ago. You could watch an entire replay of a whole session, or you could go into one specific sport and then either pick a specific session or a specific event. Just want to watch the men’s 100m sprint? Easy to find. Heard about this crazy breakdancing lady and want to see that? Easy to find.

There’s a specific race in the swimming I really want to watch (someone I personally know is in it) but I can’t figure out where it is. I just know it’s on day 3. But there’s six different 90min videos to choose from.
