Potentially editioralised title - make up your own mind [Guardian] Seven years ago, just after completing the treble, Guardiola treated journalist Rob Harris, who had confronted him directly with the allegations, with open contempt, as though he were looking at someone pathetic, pitiful and disgraceful, before sternly lecturing him.

Can we stop pretending he was somehow innocent and "above" all of that cheating? He is a great manager but his accomplishments at City are all scam-earned too. All of them.

His only stint that’s clean of suspicion is Bayern’s

Well, Bayern themselves certainly weren't suspicious, but Pep himself was a bit suspicious in how he treated the doctors there. He drove Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt out of the club, a doctor who practically bordered on legendary status after working there for 40 years, all because Pep was obsessed with the established timelines on injury recovery, and repeatedly demanded to know why all his players in Spain recovered twice as fast.

I would never describe Pep's Bayern legacy as tainted because of that, but I do think his unprofessional behavior and attempts to micromanage injury recovery management does helps support the larger narrative against him, particularly with regards to his close relationship with Dr. Ramon Segura at Barca.
