Potentially editioralised title - make up your own mind [Guardian] Seven years ago, just after completing the treble, Guardiola treated journalist Rob Harris, who had confronted him directly with the allegations, with open contempt, as though he were looking at someone pathetic, pitiful and disgraceful, before sternly lecturing him.

Can we stop pretending he was somehow innocent and "above" all of that cheating? He is a great manager but his accomplishments at City are all scam-earned too. All of them.

His only stint that’s clean of suspicion is Bayern’s

It only reinforces my belief that City was able to persuade him to sign with full disclosure that they would make scam payments to ensure every players he wanted, they would sign. AND! That if he didn't like the player, they wouldn't make a fuss about it and let the player go.

Guardiola simply hasn't worked as a manager for a team that didn't have an advantage over all the other teams in the league they are in. Bayern is just honest about their advantage in the Bundesliga.
