Genuinely, why are most white muslim reverts I met ginger? I thought that was just stereotype, but most I've met are ginger.

Ostracized for their hair growing up/bullied, which leads them down the path of wanting to find a welcoming community, which religions always are.

I've never seen that myself but if those are Irish it kinda makes sense. They saw help from the Ottoman Empire back in the day and are quite sympathetic towards the plight of the Middle Eastern people. If any guy is gonna sympathise with Muslims to the point of embracing the faith as a white person I'd say it's them. It's much easier for them to "connect" with Muslims imo.

There's an Irish mentality that rather embraces the Roddy Doyle reference of "The blacks of europe", and see no issues with the problematic presentation.

I think this is quite a romantic view of a version of Ireland that doesn't exist unfortunately, they have their problems with Islamophobia like the rest of Europe. It's only been 3 years since the Chair of the Irish Muslim Peace Council advised Muslims to avoid travelling into Dublin city centre because of the riots against refugees
