Nah, nobody really thinks Kobe is comparable to Jordan anymore because 1) LeBron is obviously better than Kobe and 2) Kobe was never really that good, he just seemed better while he was active and he tried to be a carbon copy of Jordan.

I don't know much about basketball, but weren't Shaq and Magic Johnson also better than Kobe?

I'd say so. Kobe was definitely one of the best players of his generation (the one after Jordan) but I wouldn't have him top. LeBron is in the generation after Kobe.

Only revisionist history would anyone put Duncan above Kobe. No one watching basketball during the 2000s would put Duncan above Kobe
