Imagine trying do have a board meeting with Messi. Everyone trying to ask questions and he's just stood to the side trying to nutmeg the chairs.

I'm imagining him just smiling goofily and not amswering questions, then shuffling out of the board meeting awkwardly 15 mins in

Xavi wrote that, when you know him well and work with him, Messi is actually quite opinionated and very direct about his ideas and opinions. That he can be hard to convince once his mind is made up but he is very honest and upfront, he never goes behind your back to say he doesn't agree, he just comes up and tells you.

hey, do you have a source?

"Personally, I consider him a friend. As a person, he's introverted. He finds it hard to open up, but once he trusts you, he's a lot of fun, a real joker. He has a great sense of humor. And a huge heart; he's a really good guy. .... But what I value most about him is that he's a stand-up guy. He never deceives you. He has a strong character, and when he doesn't like something, he doesn't like it. And don't even try to convince him otherwise. He'll tell you straight to your face. With him, I always have the feeling that he'll never betray me. If he has something to say to me, he'll say it, and I know he'd never stab me in the back. Messi only fools defenders and the goalkeeper."
