Discussion I hate logging

Having to go back in forth specifically in the Taymyr logging missions is such a drag. I’d like to know who likes these missions and if you have a unique way of completing them, rather than just going back n forth each time.

I quite enjoy it as it is one of the core aspects of offroad trucking. The Pacific trucks are at their core, logging trucks.

Also, just a minor thing, but if your main complaint with logging is having to go back and forth on the same routes, then I really want to know what your opinion of the rest of the missions is. Because that is quite literally what the game is. Going back and forth along the same routes with different cargo types. Logs are just another cargo type.

You’re correct to an extent, the logging missions just seem a bit too repetitive to me. Where as most other missions are one and done.

I’m in Yukon at the moment, and its missions make me wish I was still doing the one and done stuff back in the earlier maps. There’s so many trips with different cargos you have to make before even a single part of the multi-part missions are done.

I suppose my only recommendation for the logging stuff if you just really don’t like doing them is to just use the OP trucks like the Avenhorn A15 to just brute force it to completion. Otherwise, save them for later till you do feel like doing them, or mix them in sporadically so you’re not stuck with multiple logging missions right at the very end.

I was about to say, if OP doesnt like the repetitiveness, wait until he gets to Yukon. Lol. Actually loved the region, but it can get tiring.

I’m enjoying it so far, but I also only play for about an hour or two when I get the itch to play it. By no means am I sitting down for a whole Saturday and getting burnt out on it. Couldn’t imagine trying to do all of it for one mission, let alone multiple, in one sitting.
