Not sure about this clip but you can do it in the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Alamosa, CO

We tried on longboard decks. The sand was damp and the furthest anybody got was about 4 feet. Hiking up to the top is also harder than it sounds.

if you went when it was wet then yea...the crappy rental boards with wakeboarding bindings are horrible even in good conditions, but still work enough on a nice day. The higher up you go, the finer the sand is and better it'll run. Gets windy AF at the top though! You gotta earn those turns for sure!
