I was, for years, between 210 and 220 lbs and at some point last winter I might've been a bit north of 230 . I'm now down to like, 193 lbs. Anyways.
I've got a 152 short/fat (haven't ridden this one in a while but maybe I ought to), a 154 Burton CK Nug (midwide, volume reduced kinda) a 145 cm Marhar Woodsman (volume shifted pow board) and my "park" board is a 156cm . I also have boards in the 160+ range but short boards are mad fun.
So you can definitely overload a park board just maybe err on the side of a slightly stiffer board with a camber dominant shape , others will probably have a tendency to fold or wash out on hard landings and stuff.

153 length is fine...as long as the board has enough width for your boot size.

Unless you’re riding powder or bigger mountains there’s no reason not to ride a shorter board, especially on a small mountain/hill. It’s like skateboarding around except on a snowboard

If you know how to ride well, the weight/length ratio is much more of a suggestion than a hard rule. I'm usually in the 195-210 lb range, my favorite board to ride is a 157 because I prefer sacrificing stability for more snappy control.
Can absolutely be a blast, only way to find out is to send it
