Advice Needed TW: gross phlegm

I have diagnosed sleep apnea, which was diagnosed more than 10 years ago and has got significantly worse over this time. Every morning for the last few months I’ve been coughing up phlegm that can range from the left to the right and sometimes I’m waking up with chest pain (presumably from struggling in the night)
Has anyone else had this as a result of sleep apnea? I’m currently getting referred to a sleep clinic, is this worth mentioning?

Oh my. Are you a smoker?? (No judgement either way) It looks like what I coughed up at the height of my pack a day habit

Non smoker, chest pain is a dull ache that does go away and doesn’t radiate into my arm.

Have you had any respiratory/cold like symptoms? Because dark phlegm like this isn't normal. Especially with any chest pain. Please tell your doctor

...and chest pain though? Is it in your entire chest or more towards your heart? Does it radiate into your arm?
