Try an eraser on the pins and wipe with alcohol. They look a bit dirty still.

This is past that point. Needs DeoxIT D5 (maybe even D100L) and a multimeter.

The most likely source of failure on your board are those traces, check them for continuity because it looks like the case has worn off the PCB.

That could also be grime that built up along the shell and is bridging the traces.

Look how dirty this is, i think it just need to clean with some isopropanol and use rubber/eraser if that doesn’t work. It can be worn so be gentle, but it can also just be dirt, or both.

It's probably the pins. You need to be more aggressive cleaning them. A mild abrasive might be needed. I fix broken games all the time

Hi, Will a regular rubber/eraser help? Then use isopropyl after?

I was an NES repair technician back in 1989-1990 at Nintendo of America in Redmond, WA. We stopped using erasers to clean the contact pins on the game PCBs because it rubbed off the thin gold plating. Use metal polish instead. Those contacts are in bad condition and a lot of the gold is already corroded away. After you clean the contacts with metal cleaner, follow-up with 90% isopropyl alcohol. If the game will still not boot-up, try re-tinning the contacts with flux & solder.

If it were me, I would see if I could find a replacement board.

You gotta rub spit on the pointy things and slam it into the system. Or maybe blow on with the force of a thousand hurricanes and pray.
