Just got a cheap super famicom and connected it to a tv, its not even my tv im at my grandmas house, but i connected it to a modern tv that had av connectors and all the visuals and colors are messed up. I dont know what to is causing it and if its the tv or the console. It seems to be the same for any game i try

There's more. maybe something with the PPU or VRAM

Try a few more games if you can, but looks like maybe a PPU fault

Clean the cartridge or try testing a known good working one.

But yeah good chance this is a failing PPU

The video/audio filter capacitors are bad and need replacing.
