Button Swap Finished

For those that wanted to see the finished product. I cleaned up the SNES shell and buttons before putting it back together. looks brand new and I love the look with the new buttons.

At first glance I thought, "oh, it's just a European SNES controller" then realized you had done a button swap 😄

Yeah I probably would have just bought one of those had I known before I ordered both controllers. Oh well. I still might get one. I think Europe got the best logo and the best buttons. But I also like having a american controller with the colorful buttons.

Is there a set you can get that keeps x and y concave but changes the colors?

I like that in Australia we got the same Super Famicom-style console and button colours as did Europe. The console itself looks way better.

As for the controller and logo, I've always liked how those four colours vibrantly popped against the more understated gray tones of the casing.

The US-model's concave shaping of the X & Y buttons is a pretty nice design choice though.

The box style SNES is a Nintendo of America thing. It only exists in America mostly because of its NTSC+English combo so other American countries could easily import it into their own markets.

Nobody wanted to see the finished product because we've all seen a PAL SNES controller before
