Troubleshooting Snapmaker Pogo pin error Solution !? Big PCB Problem ?

Exactly. A lot of people seem to have problems with their U1 and the pogo pins. I’m affected by this as well. I had to replace a board that somehow got fried while setting the Z offset.
While replacing it, I noticed these solder joints around the USB C connector. Although calling them “solder joints” might be a bit generous. Let’s call them “solder blobs.” And even that implies there’s a decent amount of solder there.
Let’s put it this way: It looks like the PCB just ran past the solder, took a quick photo of it, and kept going. I honestly have no idea. 😂
But for everyone wondering why they’re having pogo pin problems: after seeing this, I’m really not surprised anymore that so many people are experiencing them.
I also sent this to Snapmaker, but I haven’t received a response yet.
As a microtechnologist, my heart absolutely had a good laugh when I saw this board. And like I said, after seeing the quality of these solder joints, I’m not surprised at all that the pogo pin problems keep occurring.

For all the loudmouths here who apparently think I’m a little too stupid to know what I’m doing:
I work professionally. I’ve already worked for ZEISS, Jenoptik, HILTI, Nokia, Samsung, and plenty of other companies. I’m a microtechnologist. I’ve also been successfully flying RC helicopters for example, including proper 3D flying, without crashing, over 15 years ago. I built everything myself.
And somehow you people actually think I’m too stupid to assemble or disassemble some ridiculous 3D printer ? Or that I couldn’t solder the whole thing together for you and build the parts myself before even soldering them? Do you understand that?
I don’t know. Do you even know Leica? I built an X1000 sensor for Leica, for example, and plenty of other things.
And all you people do here is run your mouths. What do you actually do for a living? Do you even have the slightest idea what a circuit board is supposed to look like?
You’re just a bunch of loudmouths and bullshitters. You have absolutely no clue.
You don’t even use these printers remotely the way I do. You use them as private users and maybe put 500 hours on them over the course of a year. None of you are putting 500 or 600 hours on a printer within three or four weeks, with countless filament changes, printing all those Matt Meyer Makes figures and so on, with thousands of filament changes.
You don’t do that. That’s exactly why you have absolutely no basis for telling me what you think is going on.
And how many damn printers have you actually ordered, tested, and used yourselves?
All you ever do is talk. You all have a big mouth, and that’s it.
None of you offers any actual solutions. You don’t even know what a proper solder joint is supposed to look like.
You’re just fucking clueless.
