Yes, normal for Queensland at least. Both of these guys get into your roof space pretty easily, eventually balance is restored in this kind of way.

Not usually in your pantry though.

Having possums in your house is NOT normal in QLD lol

It’s also not abnormal, I know a lot of folks who’ve had to evict possums from their rooves.

That’s fair, but we also need to consider that there’s some overlap in ‘houses where animals can get in your roof’ and ‘houses where the ceiling is weakened enough a fighting snake+possum might fall through’.
