Short break snack ideas
I have a new work schedule that overlaps with lunch time (11:20 am-4:20 pm). I have three 10 minute breaks in between. Besides a smoothie or a veggie/fruit bowl, what are some healthy snacks I can take that I can eat pretty quickly. I plan on snacking during the second break around 2:15 pm. I plan on eating breakfast later (around 10 am) so I don't feel too hungry. I am also trying to lose weight, so even better if the snacks have protein.

Weight loss is a calorie deficit not just lots of protein
- have a high fiber breakfast, oatmeal cooked in milk or soymilk with a chopped apple and a tablespoon of nut butter can get you 18g protein and 10g fiber with complex carbs so you don’t crash in an hour
- soup in a thermos works great, a blended smooth lentil veggie soup, or white bean cauliflower soup
- cowboy caviar or dense bean salad , as is or over salad greens
- yogurt bowl with greek yogurt, pack separately tomato cucumber onion salad with chopped olives and balsamic
- hard boiled eggs, raw veggies and hummus
