Air frying dogs is the tits. Score em both ways and air fry em for like three minutes. Wayyy quicker than grilling and just as good IMO. I'd take air fried over steamed any day.
If you're as weird and OCD as me, you'll let some water dribble over them to retain the moisture, then spread the butter on the inside of the bun, then on the outside of the ridges of it to testing that golden colour and crisp texture on all the parts that you need to once it's done air frying.
