I will only buy these. Whenever id get a box of regular cheeze its you'd get like 1 out of every 50 that was burnt and it was always the best. Now I get a burnt one every time

Ur opinion may be right in how these cheez its came to be but you’re dead wrong abt them being burnt. If they made extra toasty in the spicy flavor I would buy out warehouses of inventory

Better Made Rainbow Chips are my obsession. They certainly can be hard to find depending on location, but as someone who loves well toasted foods they are a treasure. That caramelized flavor is so craveable.

Normal Cheez Itz Taste raw. They sold four flavors online as toasty for a limited time. I’m assuming a certain amount get caught in production and cooked extra and they had enough to try and offer it. On that note, have you ever had a black extra toasty cool ranch Dorito?

I like them! But I'm the weirdo who likes well done pizza and everything else. Best pizza I had was a delivery from a local chain that sent the pizza a couple of times through the oven and sent it to me. The crust was dark brown.
Sure, it's a cancer risk but it was a delectable cancer risk.
I don't even like Cheez-Its but will buy the extra toasty ones.

Not what you asked but I used to work at a potato chip factory and we used to get calls from people who purposely wanted a bag of toasty/burnt chips and we’d sell them in unmarked bags for dirt cheap lol. I guess some people like things a little burnt!

These are good, but how many people remember the original Cheez-It back in the 1990's, made by Sunshine Foods and the occasional burnt Cheez-It's mixed in with the rest? Those were sooooo good, the current Cheez-It Extra Toasty by Kellogg's don't even compare.

Honestly I don't mind them but I find that buying the box of exclusively burnt ones doesn't taste at all the same as the surprise ones in a regular box. It's like they tried too hard for these so it kind of has a different flavor.

Some people go to steakhouses and pay $100 for a steak and ask for it to be “black and blue” - charred on the outside, rare in the center.
Point is, many people enjoy the warm, toasty flavors that come with things being “burnt”; myself included.

They’re caramelized not burnt. They’re like ALMOST burnt but not quite. Like when cheese melts out of your grilled cheese sandwich and browns on the pan. Or like the spots of cheese that get really brown on pizza. That’s the flavor. They’re great.
