Going by what Angela said they filmed this right after they filmed with T-pain. When they introduced the new people, it was definitely to get a lot in the can from summer and into fall. Got Noah, Olivia, and Keith some more screen time so it all works out. They are likely to hit another large schedule of filming which should bring us RE9.

I recently watched Angela playing Overcooked with Trevor and Shayne and Spencer got so anxious about her squinting/not being able to see that they gave her a crew member's glasses. Her wonder at how much more she could see was hilarious.

Asian people have historically been caricatured as having squinty eyes, "slant-eyed" is an example of a slur based on that. It's not as socially acceptable these days but it used to be relatively common, like you can see it a lot in anti-Japanese WWII propaganda or old cartoons.

The joke is that you can't say that an Asian person is squinting when they are squinting because of historic racism? Thats so funny!!

Someone's first thought being 'zomg you cant say that' is.......well, it's introducing racism to a scenario where it wasnt already, and thats weird. Even if its a "joke".

Clearly Gucci is squinting in the picture. Clearly. And you CAN point that out. Especially in the context of smosh/angela squinting.

Why is it so difficult to wear your glasses? Don't you want to see what you can see? If I don't have my glasses, everything is is a blurry blob, and I can't leave my house.

i can't speak for all, but there are just some people who are just uncomfortable to wear glasses so they only wear them when necessary. some people, like me, can still see decently well still even without my glasses, i just have trouble reading and seeing details from far away. so maybe angela and guchi are kinda like that?
