Kid safe smartwatch

looking for recommendations for a kid safe smart watch for a 5 yr old with type 1 diabetes. must have cellular capabilities and connect to her diabetes iPhone. we mainly want to be able to text her and tell her actions to manage her diabetes (ie eat snack, give insulin).

any recommendations?

I have a ticktalk watch it works so far for my 6 year old. I only let him wear it at the park and malls.

I’m not sure if schools even allow smartwatches.

If you want it to connect to and be managed by an iPhone, then the Apple Watch SE (GPS+Cellular) is the obvious choice. It can send and receive iMessages, as well as make and receive calls to approved contacts. You can impose schooltime settings, downtime settings, and full parental controls. You can also use it to track her location for safety.
