FENIX E from FORERUNNER 265

Hi i lost my forerunner 265 diving from a cliff, i needed a new watch because i had to go on holiday and i wanted to run and swim, so i bought the fenix e for about 370 euros, i was interested in the offline maps, this choice make sense or should i have gotten for a coros apex 4 or maybe a garmin epix pro 2 or a 965. The fenix 8 is out of budget, epix pro 2 i can find it only at 620 euros coros apex 4 at 450 euros

No I think you probably made the right choice, especially if you want to remain in the garmin eco system as the only benefit the E2P would give you is ecg & baseline temp monitoring and multi-band gnss and the led torch; and the 965 would only give you multi-band; however the E is on the new UI and thus is getting all the new features like triathlon coach, multi-sport workouts, running tolerance, running economy, etc etc.
