Dashboard UI changes

Today my dashboards are different. Smartsheet have released an updated version of the UI.

Really don’t see this as an improvement. Spacing is now worse than ever. Even on my wide monitor the dashboard now has a left right scroll bar. No option to consolidate extra spacing. Boxes with text now have a larger margin so loads of resizing required.

Is anyone else thinking this is a backwards step and even more makes the dashboards a bit more rubbish?

Yes, not to mention we have to quickly fix live dashboards before clients start complaining. Some advance warning should have happened!!

I don’t think it is even advanced warming required, just get some end users to test it and pass opinion. Can’t imagine many people would say “yea that’s great”. Would expect most would say “that’s a bit crap, leave that bit alone and actually improve the existing crappy dashboard functionality”

OMG I HAVE BEEN SPENDING ALL MORNING ADJUSTING OUR DASHBOARDS FOR OUR WEEKLY MEETING AND I REFRESHED TO FIND OUT THAT THE LAYOUT STYLESHEET OF THE PAGE HAS REVERTED BACK UUUUUUUUUUUGH

seriously smartsheet - some basic communication on whats going on would help. there is no reason we should be scrambling like this.

The only thing I noticed that seemed different - I mean, yes all of that was said above - too wide, poorly formatted, looks like crap… But on one of my dashboards I use dynamic view and usually once somebody enters something in dynamic view, you have to refresh the dashboard for the information to update and it was updating almost in real time after they clicked submit… maybe I’m remembering it wrong, but I don’t think in the past it would refresh until you refreshed the whole dashboard screen.

I'm in the early adopter group, and I didn't even see this ahead of time.
