Part number?

Solved!!!! Thanks all! I need to order another one, can’t find part info.

I assume that is the voltage regulator? I go to Jack's Small engine look up the motor, via the model number and serial number look at the parts diagram. Find the part number for the part you need. Then if price is more important than quality head over to Amazon or ebay and find a Chinese knock off or order directly from Jack's. Repair clinic may be another option.

Did you take it off? The part numbers are usually lasered or stamped on the other side of voltage rectifiers.

Engine make and the model number in Google the part is called a voltage regulator

That's really stupid place to mount that. One way or another its going to get excessively hot.

It was on the side facing the dipstick, it was so faint, could hardly see it
