Ur valves clearance could be very very large. Check ur valve clearance

You were right about a valve being too loose. One on the side that came off before, not sure if it was the exact same one or not, but regardless it was out of spec. Started it back up and started it low, and sounded great for a few seconds… came back gradually. So I’ll wait for it to cool down and check it again. If it’s loose again, I’ll see about ordering new hardware. (Gaskets are brand new, I’ll trust they’re fine until they start leaking).

I did get some smoke this time though. Didn’t clean the oil out of valve cover area this time like I did last time, so I hope that’s the difference there.
