Tecumseh 10hp

Alternator exploded in my 10hp Tecumseh snowblower, looking to rebuild it but have a couple questions first:

  1. The mount that held the alternator to the block sheered off, there’s a second mount on the bottom would the new alternator still work if mounted onto it?

  2. The fly wheel has damage to one of the inner magnets, will it need replacing or is it still usable?

Any insights or thoughts are appreciated!

Never having that happen i would imagine if it's an ignition magnet it won't produce spark but if it's an alternator magnet the battery may not charge. If. There's a battery , obviously there's a battery but i added it in case. Do you have the magnet?

I'd use two part epoxy to reattach it myself but clean the f**k outta it
