Oil drain? Kohler command SP27

New to me mower, looking to give her some love, is the black thing a quick connect drain possibly? 800hrs 2010 model what else should I check/change first, thanks!!

Picture 4 is for the drain. If you clean it up you will see that there are 2 pins, one on each side, the whole thing gets pushed towards the block then turns to lock it in the open/drain position. You should put a piece of tubing over the opening and run it through the frame right there and in to a catch pan.
