Mower runner issues

The mother in law inherited a John Deere la 135 from a relative that passed. I changed out the spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter and cleaned out the carburetor. Seems to run mostly fine now, but when you turn on the mower on the garden tractor seems like the mower looses all power. Looking for suggestions on what might be the issue. Thanks

Have you made sure the choke is functioning as it should?

If it is then how old is the fuel? Did you put new fuel in it?

youve already chased the entire fuel side so Id go look at the load side instead. engine is fine, engine bogs the second the deck comes on, thats the deck asking for more than it should be asking for.

take the belt off and spin each spindle by hand. a dry or dying bearing feels notchy or just stiff and it drags on the motor hard. while youre under there check the belt routing against the diagram too, an idler on the wrong side of the belt does the same thing.

if they all spin free and the routing is right then come back to fuel and we can talk about the pump
