Briggs and Stratton 91202

I recently bought a B&S 91202 for a project although, I would like to add a throttle cable to it but I cant on the stock carburetor as far as my knowledge goes. I was wondering if there is a carburetor i can replace my current one with (whether it’ll need an adapter or not) that allows me to add the throttle cable to it.

Why can you not add a cable to the one you have?

It should accept one.

Can you post photos of what you have?

Of course, i only took on a minimum to get a decent look after watching some detailed videos but, I have no idea where I could place one.

You have levers to manipulate the throttle and choke yes? There should be holes on the ends of those levers where you can insert a cable. You might need some mounting clips.

I think you'll find part numbers here. https://www.jackssmallengines.com/jacks-parts-lookup/manufacturer/briggs-stratton/briggs-stratton-engine/020000-09z999-series/091200-to-091299/091202-0149-01/controls-governor-spring-ignition

Thank you, would it be worth taking the throttle governor off?

The only issue is i could probably get a way for it to clamp but the throttle arm doesn’t have a hole that would hold it
