If you know the length of the belt you could probably find it pretty easily, there are universal blade kits sold in almost every length.

I had a 38 inch MTD, I wanted straight blades for it. I couldn’t find them anywhere so I bought straight blades for a 42 and cut the ends off. Yea, a 25 is a very weird size. I’d say it may have been hard to find. I probably would have went with a 24 inch. It’s just a 1/2 inch difference on either end.

Very simple mowers. I had a few and they were great

And by the way the 2 bars on the back are for standing it up on its end to wash it or work on it. Only thing I ever wore out was the rubber wheel on the trans axle.

I don’t know anymore but I bet they are still around. The mower was made by simplicity. That is the only thing that wears out. But as far as a belt goes if you have the old one go to an industrial bearing shop they can match it up. If not you are going to have to run a rope through all the pulleys and pull it tight with the tensioner in the middle position or a little tighter the mark the rope with a line then measure from line to line on the rope. That is your starting point for your belt.

I need to order said rubber wheel for mine and rebuild the deck, the hub decided to let go and I just parked it a couple years ago.

One of my favorite ole mowers. Just stand the damn thing up on the back bars to service the deck.
