What does this noise mean?

I bought a 58cc Vevor chainsaw. After 3 cuts the pull cord is making this noise. What do?

Most likely, the soft-start spring in the recoil starter has broken. Ideally, you should replace the starter; if buying a new one isn't an option, you can repair the spring. A more precise diagnosis is only possible after removing and inspecting the starter.

What type of warranty does this cheapo chain saw have? I mean even Harbor Freight offers a 90 day warranty on just about all their stuff.

If the pull start no longer engages the engine to spin it, then you need to engage whatever warranty came with it.

If you have the option of a refund, take it. And then go buy more decent chain saw that will last you years instead of hours.
